This double cased set holds two factory engraved Colt 1849 Pocket revolvers, serial numbers 108867 and 109074, both made in 1855 in .31 caliber with 4 inch barrels. The supplier rates the first revolver in excellent condition, with 90 percent or more of the original blue on the barrel and dragoon head carved ivory grips. The back strap and trigger guard keep their original silver finish, and the frame case colors are visible but have darkened. Our listing marks the set as used.

The set includes the double factory case, a near mint flask with Colt's patent markings, a brass mold, a tin of percussion caps, two boxes of skin packs and a nipple wrench. A set like this suits a Missouri collector who wants the revolvers and their original accessories together as one display or collection piece. The supplier also notes that the set was formerly in the William Locke collection.
