The 1858 Remington revolving rifle is a used black powder .44 caliber rifle with a 20-inch barrel, built in an Old West style. The supplier describes it as modern production. The metal shows light marks and pitting, and the wood is in very good condition. It is listed in the Cowboy Action Shooting and Modern Replicas category. The supplier describes the metal and the wood separately, so the condition of each part is noted here.

Missouri's firearms portions allow centerfire rifles, shotguns with slugs, handguns and muzzleloaders, but a black powder revolving rifle may fall under different rules than a standard centerfire rifle. Check the MDC Fall Deer and Turkey booklet to confirm how this piece is classed before any hunting use. The old-west styling suits a cowboy action shooter or a collector of replica firearms.
