This Model 91 Carcano bolt-action carbine was made in 1916 and is chambered in 6.5x52mm Carcano, with a 20 inch round barrel. The bore is dark with oxidation in the grooves, though the rifling remains visible. The right side of the receiver is marked FAT and MADE IN ITALY. The bayonet attachment has been removed, and the carbine shows the handling and service wear expected of a military rifle of its age. The action functions correctly. Listed as used, serial number UG4460.

The 6.5x52mm Carcano is a centerfire cartridge, so the carbine falls within the centerfire rifles that Missouri's firearms deer portions allow for 2026-27, including the Nov. 14-24 portion. It suits a collector of WWI-era military rifles, because the later modification and the removed bayonet attachment form part of its service history. The supplier calls it a solid example of WWI-production Italian Carcano, so the record of honest military use is the main draw.
