This K98k bolt-action rifle was made circa 1945 and is chambered in 8mm Mauser, with a 24 inch round barrel. The supplier describes the bore as oxidized with strong rifling remaining, and the action as smooth and functioning correctly. The serial numbers do not match. The original rear sight was removed and an optic rail was fitted through the rear sight assembly, while the receiver itself was left unaltered. The stock disk was replaced with an Ethiopian national emblem, and the barrel carries an import mark. Listed as used, serial number 323h.

The 8mm Mauser is a centerfire cartridge, so this rifle falls within the centerfire rifles that Missouri's firearms deer portions allow, which run Nov. 14-24 for the 2026-27 November season. Its optic rail suits a buyer who wants a historic bolt action with a modern sighting setup for range work. The supplier notes the Ethiopian emblem as suggesting later Ethiopian association or service, so collectors who follow post-war service history will find the changes worth studying.
