Since January 1, 2017, Missouri residents who can legally possess a firearm may carry concealed without a permit from age 19 (18 for members of the armed forces). Many carriers still get a Missouri concealed carry permit from the Pettis County Sheriff, because it is honored in more states and speeds up some purchases.
