Missouri has no permit to purchase, no gun registration and no state waiting period, so the revolver is completed at a licensed dealer after the photo ID check and the federal NICS background check. The 4-inch barrel and J-frame size suit carry, home defense or range use in the state. Federal rules set the minimum age for a handgun purchase at 21, so buyers under that age cannot take delivery.
